About Bowl of Serial!
At the bottom of the page you can see the update box that shows my site's progress, should you so desire... at least to a certain extent, because I sort of forgot to update it in some places. A couple of Q & A too, since there can't be an FAQ when nobody's asked a question yet.
Welcome to the World of the Weird!
Greetings... if you have stumbled upon this little corner of the 'net-- I'm sorry. (ba-dum ching!) If, however, you have a strong stomach, er, I mean fine artistic taste, you've come to the right place! This site is the home of a collection of various interests and hobbies of mine, just a mostly random mix of eclectic pages I strung together for my own personal delight. It does, however, have one main focus: a mostly random mix of eclectic stories drawn in webcomic form for my own personal delight (and hopefully the delight, or at least tolerance, of my friends and loved ones who get drawn into the comic as well).
ABOUT THE COMIC:
Did you know you spelled "cereal" wrong?
No, no I didn't. I mean serial like a continuing story, get it, it's a pun, it's cute and funny, ha ha. Laugh. Please? But anyway, just in case you don't believe me I looked up the exact definition as listed on Dicionary.com. "Published or produced in installments, as a novel or television drama." See. ^_^
Why does your comic have a bunch of different stories in it? It's confusing. What's wrong with your characters being in the same world and/or doing the same kinds of things all the time? And why do you have more than one set of characters?
I do it this way because I like to. It's fun and doesn't limit me to one thing. Besides, it's a bowl of serial! There's lots of little Rice Crispies (tm) in one bowl, and there's lots of different stories in this bowl. Maybe one day I'll find a format/storyline/world/whatever that I like so much I want to stick with it. But for the meantime I love bowl of serial as-is, because it gives me the ultimate in creative freedom as a comic artist. And it's good for you as a reader because it's like you get a number of comics for the price of one! The, uh, free price of one, because I um, don't charge people to view it... never you mind.
