**Sunday 12-09-07-- Updated this box for the first time in a year or more. Made some changes to character page, About page, and added a new page.

**Tuesday 12/6/05-- I just realized how long it's been since I updated this. Heh. Well okay I guess not too many people look at it but I care anyway. Um yeah, so the update day is on Sunday now until I get a little better at art and a little less busy. ;) working on some new stuff for other pages, that might get done... sometime.

**Wednesday 8/31/05-- Back from hiatus! Tenative new update schedule will be Tuesday and Sunday evenings.

**Sunday 7/24/05--There's been some sort of bad-luck demon on my tail this week. I'm not going to even bother going into why my poor, neglected comic is not being updated as it should be. I just want to assure everyone that updates are still forthcoming, even if they are going to be sporadic for a while there'll be at least one a week.

I feel like crying every time I think of how often I've had to break promises about keeping this going. So from now on all promises are suspended until I get into my new apartment (September 1st is the tenative move-in date). Like I said, until then, I'll do my best to see it's updated once a week and hopefully it'll be Saturday but it might be earlier or later depending on what's going on with my crazy life. :(

If I got a little feedback on the comic once in a while, it might help (not that I'm hinting, or anything). So leave me your support, your input, or even just a "hey I do read this once in a while so UPDATE ALREADY!" It's been easy, of late, to put the comic on the back burner in the face of all the challenges life has heaped on me the past months because as far as I have been able to tell no one notices. I care, but since I'm the only one apparently, it's easy to break these promises that I make to myself about the comic. If I'm promising someone other than me, though, it's harder to break. And more guilt is involved when I do. So put the guilt trip on if you wanna see more of this more often, lol! Just drop me a line saying "but you proooomised and I was waaaaiting." Then I'll be inspired to let something OTHER than the comic slide when life is handing me a bit too much.

**Wednesday 7/20/05--The artist is getting on the computer just long enough to announce that she will be taking a sick day today and has no suitable filler prepared, and is therefore leaving up Tuesday's drawing. She plans to not be so attached to the bathroom tomorrow (with fingers crossed) and the comic will continue until Sunday, after which the normal Saturday schedule will be back. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For those who enjoy BOS and have been liking the daily updates, I am considering upping my schedule to more than once a week, but as you can no doubt tell from the problems I've been having keeping it updated on time, I'm hesitating about it. It's just little old me here to do the comic and the site as well, and I don't have enough computer savvy to know how to update from any computer but my own. So sometimes (especially with all this moving around) it gets challenging. But I'll always be doing it at least once a week even if I may sometimes not always hit Saturday. Yay! Feedback is always appreciated! Let me know what you think: Two/three times a week or stick with one?

As for the quality of the comics lately, be patient with that too. I am getting slowly better with the tablet, and as soon as I get my workspace back again (I'm moving at the end of August) I'll be back to pencil and paper as well.

**Wednesday 7/13/05-- Sorry for the lack of update and the lack of explanation. I thought I'd be able to keep doing every Saturday as planned... I didn't plan on the internet going down and preventing me from updating for more than two weeks!!!!! (sorry I couldn't tell you why I was late earlier... I don't know how to upload from a computer other than mine... I know, I'm a baaaad website owner). To make it up to you, I will be updating the site daily, beginning this Saturday, for one week (providing the internet holds up... cross your fingers). That's right, you'll have a new Bowl of Serial from Saturday to Saturday. I'll aim for having them up by 8 pm each day (I work mornings and afternoons). It might be later than that but hopefully not by much. Thanks for your patience, and thanks for enjoying BOS!

**Saturday 6/11/05-- Put up explanatory filler strip. Fixed some little things in the site. Changed the info, about author, character, and link pages. Woo.

**Friday 4/15/05-- goshdarnit, there goes my every two weeks promise... sigh... but I've made some small changes and more on the way! Expect them this weekend!

**Tuesday 3/8/05-- Well ok, got some changes on the character page and two new comics! Whee I'm booking!

**Friday 2/18/05-- I'm back from the dead! Woot! Today I updated some of the non-comic pages and explained my long absence (that was overdue, I apologize). Um... I have nothing witty to say.

**Tuesday 1/3/05-- I'm back from winter break, which means I have my computer again!!! yay. I updated the character page, more is coming soon. I hope.

**Friday 11/19/04-- Two new comics! I have one more on the way that I've just been too lazy to ink. Bad, bad me. Heehee. It's actually number five. But I put number six up first instead. You do not know this. I made the switch and nobody is the wiser! MUAH HA HA! Oh wait I just told you. Nevermind.

**Thursday 11/11/04-- I changed a whoooole bunch of the pages and I added several comics. Number five isn't up yet because I need to re-do it. What a pain. Will get that going asap.

**Sunday 11/7/04-- Happy Bday to my older sis Katie, yay! I added a new comic. There's one more I need to ink and color and then it's getting uploaded, and then of course I've many more in the works, including the finishing of the bestiary staircase storyline and the addition of two more storylines... and that's just what I've got planned right now! Of course there will be more changes to the site itself, those additions are all planned out too, the problem is just time, and I have felt that getting the comics up was priority number one, so the next time I get some good update time, I'll take care of the other pages!

**Friday 11/5/04-- I added two new comics (two more coming as soon as I've inked, scanned, and colored them!) and updated a few other pages.

** Thursday 11/4/04-- Put some detail on a few pages, nothing big, still didn't have a chance to do the stuff I wanted to get to. But, the weekend is coming up so once I get my homework done it's all website!

**Wednesday 11/3/2004-- yes I voted. Ahem, right, the site. New comic. I updated a few pages here and there, nothing big, largely I put up more sophisticated ways to apologize for the slow start of the site, as I've been squelched by several other commitments (mostly schoolwork) from keeping things going at a good pace.

**Friday 10/29/04-- Got the website well under way, added new pages... have not actually put the CONTENT on these pages yet, but they are there and I have plans for them! :) Finished scanning and coloring the first few comics, put them up. Moving along slowly but surely!

**Wednesday 10/27/04-- New scanner!!! Yay, the website jets off at the speed of... too slow. The comics are probably going to suck for a while, please bear with me. I'm still figuring out how to use the scanner itself, the software that I use to color and fix the images with, and of course my own drawing style. These first few are especially bad because my sketchbook is in actual book form and I didn't stop to think how that would present problems with scanning. I will either get a flat sketchbook or begin drawing the comic on loose paper. But it's going to get better so hang in there. ^_^

**Friday 8/10/04-- I just found out my scanner won't work with my new computer. My perfectly good scanner is now perfectly useless. So webcomic coming soon, that is, as soon as I can get my hands on either a scanner or a tablet (or oooh, prefferably both). If anyone knows a source of good tablets and/or cheap scanners, please email me!!!
